  • All prices relate to the NSE Spot/Cash Market
  • Calls are based on the previous trading day’s price activity.
  • Intraday call is valid for the next trading session only unless otherwise mentioned.
  • Stop-loss levels are given so that there is a level below/above, which the market will tell us that the call has gone wrong. Stop-loss is an essential risk control mechanism; it should always be there.
  • Book, at least, part profits when the prices reach their targets; if you continue to hold on to positions then use trailing stops to lock in your profits.

    Dear Sir,

I have a query regarding the positional/swing calls you give on stocks on a daily basis….I wish to know how long these positions are to be held for a move in the favorable direction….I am specifically referring to your positional call on Wockhardt a few days ago….”Failure to close above 1042….stock will move down”….I had taken a Put Option on Wockhardt after observing the failure to hold 1042 on the same day….The stock did come down to 1025 levels but moved back up to 1059 almost (at which point I squared off my put), but now the stock is back to 1021 today! (although my put would still have been at a loss, I would have been able to cut my losses)….so basically, what is the “duration” if any for these positional calls that one needs to take?

    Thanks,
    Neel
