Nifty Analysis for 01 Jan 2020

FII sold 7.4 K contract of Index Future worth 691 cores, Net OI has decreased by 2.3 K contract, 4.9 K Long contract were liquidated by FII and 2.5 K short were added by FII. Net FII Long Short ratio at 1.20, So FII used rise to exit longs and enter shorts.

As discussed in last analysis Today was Mercury Ingress so today high and low will decide the next 75-100 points move in bank Nifty.Bears will get active below 12200 for a move back to 12149/12080.Bulls will get active above 12290 for a move back to 12351/12400. 12300 CE is having Highest OI at 26 Lakh, resistance at 12300 followed by 12400 .11800-12300 CE added 10 Lakh in OI so bears added position in range of 12300-12400.FII sold 7.7 K CE and 3.8 K CE were shorted by them. Retailers bought 151 K CE and 87 K CE were shorted by them.

12200 PE OI@26 Lakhs having the highest OI strong support at 12200 followed by 12100 . 12000-12400 PE added 4 Lakh in OI so bulls added position in range 12000-12100.FII bought 12.8 K PE and 7.1 K shorted PE were covered by them. Retailers sold 61 K PE and 18.7 K shorted PE were covered by them.
