  1. Per capita income at ₹1.97 lac more than double in last 5 years
  2. India 5th largest economy of the world.
  3. Digital payments of 126 lac crores in 2022
  4. 11.7 crore toilets. 9.64 crore cylinders. 220 crore Covid doses.
  5. 2.2 lac crores direct Trf to farmers
  6. Huge impetus on tourism. State and centre aligned and public private partnership programmes
  7. Green economy to be pushed beyond realms. Carbon footprint reduction roadmap
  8. Government to support agri tech startup’s. Agricultural accelerator fund to be set up
  9. Public private partnership allowed in cotton manufacturing
  10. India to become global hub for millets. India is largest producer and second largest exporter of all kinds of millets.
  11. Indian institute of millet research will be made international
  12. Agricultural credit target to be made till 20 lac crore with support to dairy.

  14. Agricultural societies, dairy and fishery societies to be set up
  15. 157 new nursing colleges to be set up

  67. Some cigarette to be costlier by 16%
  68. 72 lac returns filed on a single day.
  69. Processing days of ITR reduced from 93 days to 16 days.
  70. 44AD and 44ADA are now at 3 crores and 75 lacs.
  71. Gst exempted for blending of CNG
  72. 16% fresh NCCD om cigarette
  73. Primary agricultural society can deposit cash up to 2 lac.
  74. Income tax benefit and c/o losses till 10 years of incorporation
  75. Deploy 100 joint commissioners to get cases disposed.
  76. Income tax- rebate increased limit to 7 lacs in the new tax regime
  77. New income tax slab will have only 5 slabs. 0-3 nil. 3-6 5%. 6-9 10%
  78. Standard deduction under new tax regime to be 52500 for salary up to 15.5 lac
  79. Highest tax rate is 42.7%. Now reduced. Surcharge now at 25% from 37%. New tax now at 39%
  80. Leave encashment now at 25 lac
  81. New income tax regime is now the default setting.
  82. Revenue of 38000 crores will be foregone by tax consolidation.

    For heavy tax payers new regime will be benifical.
    For medium income people and below, for whome investment matters old regime will be suitable.
    Hope that new tax regime which is made default system will not lead in removal of the old system, as it appears from the wording.
